I completed my first degree (B Sc) with a first class from University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka (2005). I started my industrial carrier as a Microbiologist and served 02 years by developing Microbiology laboratory, SOPs and HACCP system for a leading food company in Sri Lanka. I hold M Sc in Celluler and Molecular Immunology (University of Colombo, 2010). I developed quantitative Nitro Blue Tetrazonium (NBT) assay to identify defects in neutrophils while identifying the effect of Ixora coccinea in human neutrophil functions during my  M Sc.
