W.R.G.A. Wijesundara graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sri Lanka in 1972. He joined the Open University of Sri Lanka in 1990 after serving the industry for over 16 years. He obtained MPhil degree in the area of Wind energy. Presently he is serving as a Senior Lecturer attached to the Department of Mechanical Engineering and as an academic he is engaged in teaching in the areas of Dynamics of Mechanical Systems, Automobile Engineering etc.
