The Sri Lanka Journal of Management Studies (SLJMS) is the official journal of the Faculty of Management studies of The Open university of Sri Lanka. It’s Editorial policy and positioning accentuation the journal as a medium for exchange the newest research ideas and best practices. The mission of SLJMS is to be the premier international journal for exchange and advancement of research, in all fields of Management.
SLJMS is a bi-annual, peer reviewed journal which launched align with the inauguration ceremony of faculty of management Studies at the Open university of Sri Lanka. The first issue was dedicated for late professor Sudatta Ranasinghe, Professor of Management Studies, Open university of Sri Lanka. Faculty of Management studies is not simply offering publication in this new journal and striving to attract people who are eager to participate in SLJMS.
SLJMS is eclectic international forum for insights, innovations and advances in Management and study designs using qualitative, quantitative or mixed methods research. Accordingly, it is a rigorous and authoritative publication which includes the best of theory and practices and provide a good platform to exchange the latest innovative ideas in an accessible manor. Already it published 2 issues consisting approximately 16 papers. Through the SLJAMS we are creating a community around the journal that will help academics and practitioners to find partners for joint research and policy making.
