Welcome to Gampaha Study Centre
Our Study Center is in a convenient location close to all the amenities such as the three bus stops where students travel towards the Gampaha town and Kandy directions. The Gampaha Study Center of the Open University of Sri Lanka was established in December 2008, with the intention of fulfilling the higher educational needs of the citizens living in Gampaha District. People of the area have been highly motivated for decades towards education and the life-long learning through Open and Distance Learning methodologies would be one of their impending whims. We possess a nice collection of classrooms with multimedia and internet facilities. Our auditorium can accommodate 80 – 100 students. We have two computer laboratories which can accommodate nearly 40 students. We are the pioneers of launching short courses where Study Centers are concerned. We maintain our student numbers that fit to our building capacity. Meanwhile our big focus is drawn to the academic success while keeping the dropout rates to bare minimum. We have achieved a good academic success rate during the last 14 years duration.

Our goal is to provide students in the western region near Gampaha to achieve their education through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) by ensuring quality and timely knowledge.
