My home town is Kandy and I was attended to Akuramboda Central College Matale. After serving as a Govt. teacher for 18 years, I joined the Open University in 2007 and I joined the Dept of Secondary and Tertiary Education of the faculty of Education as a lecturer (Probationary). I completed my Ph.D in 2013. I appointed as a Head of the Department of Secondary and Tertiary Education from 2014. My research interests are in Educational Management, Teacher Education and Curriculum
