I am Fareed Mohamed Nawastheen, working as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Secondary & Tertiary Education, Faculty of Education of the Open University of Sri Lanka. I was from Jaffna, obtained school education in the Jaffna Osmaniya College and did my bachelor degree in University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. Further, I did my Master in Curriculum & Instruction in the Universiti Putra Malaysia and then I did my PhD in Curriculum & Pedagogy in the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.

I wish to serve my country through my acdemic and research contributions.
