Welcome to Colombo Regional Center
Colombo Regional Centre (CRC) is located at Nawala, adjacent to the premises of the central campus of the Open University. Colombo Regional Centre is equipped with all the facilities available in an average higher education institute including modern Lecture Halls, Engineering, Science and Health Science Laboratories, Seminar Rooms, Conference Hall, Examination Halls, Temporary Residential Facilities for students, Health Care Centre, Career Guidance Unit, and a Playground. Colombo Regional Centre is able to serve a large student population spread throughout the province. Currently, there are more than 21,000 students studying at the Colombo Regional Centre (Centre Code: WP10).
All study programs relevant to the six faculties including Certificate, Diploma, Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, and Masters in the fields of Engineering Technology, Natural Sciences, Education, Social Sciences, Health Sciences and management Studies are served by Colombo Regional Centre. The staff of the CRC which is guided by two Assistant Directors, is willing to serve for distance learners during week days as well as weekends with a high quality service to achieve their educational target.
