Instructions regarding Industrial Training course

1. You must register for this course (EEW5811 Industrial Training) after the first year.

2. If you are already an employee in a “Software Development” or a related organization and if you have more than one year of experience, you can apply for the training exemption. There is a training exemption form given in this webpage. You must fill it and send it to the coordinator in charge of Industrial Training (in 2022).

3. If you get the exemption for the training module, you have to write a report based on the experience you have earned during the job. Then you will be called for a viva voice with the report in order to assess your claim.

4. Those who do not have any experience in software development can apply for training. You can find the “Training standards for Software Engineering” on the website. During your training period, you must complete a training diary and it must be signed by your training place supervisor. After finishing your training you have to submit the training diary and the training report to the coordinator in charge of Industrial Training (in 2022) before the stipulated deadline.

5. Every year two deadlines will be given before which you have to submit the exemption form or the Training Diary and the report
